SoulCollage®: A Journey of Discovery with Laura Seligman

Intro to SoulCollage® 


SoulCollage® is an intuitive collage process in which you’ll learn to create and work with a deck of personal wisdom cards. It’s flexible and inclusive and is for anyone who has questions about their own life, relationships, career or just would like some guidance and insight for the next steps of their journey.


Even though it’s a relaxing and fun card-making activity of cutting and pasting it works on a deep level with found imagery as symbols for healing and self-discovery that even the most seasoned seekers can benefit from. As a matter of fact- the more cards you make the more you learn! The SoulCollage® method gently encourages your soul to speak through your creativity to strengthen you’re intuition, deepen your spiritual connection, provide you with meaningful insights and direct you to practical answers.

How do we do it? 

The art making part of it is a very simple activity of cutting or tearing out images that you are drawn to, collaging them together and pasting them on a card. It’s that easy! But what makes this process different than basic collaging is that you’re taught how to work with your SoulCollage® cards intuitively to answer life’s questions and participate in self-discovery. Because your cards are made by you, they give you a means to access your unique inner wisdom and find direction by "reading” them individually or in groups. There are no limits to the themes we can explore with SoulCollage® because one of the basic principles is that, no matter what the Questions are, we already have the Answers inside of us. 

What do I need to bring?

• Bag lunch or make their own arrangements
• Scissors or other paper crafting cutting equipment
• Glue sticks
• Journal for reflections
• Pen

Registration fee is $95 per person, limited seating to 14 participants; includes coffee, tea, water, refreshments and supplies for card making.

Laura Seligman, M.S, is an artist and a docent at the U-M Museum of Art. She is a long time student of t'ai chi, Buddhist practice, and the Diamond Approach. Laura brings to SoulCollage® her skills facilitating numerous groups throughout her career.
