George Pariseau

Meet BOS Member, George Pariseau | Founder & Producer of Brainstream Creative

Where do you consider your hometown?

I'm from Plymouth, MI.

How long have you been in Ypsi?

Well, I attended college at both Washtenaw Community College and Eastern Michigan University and lived in Ypsilanti (near the Fire Museum) for part of my undergrad studies. I've been spending time professionally and socially in Ypsilanti since early 2000's.

What do you like about Ypsi?

Quite a few things: It's industrial history and architecture, the creative community (music, fine arts):  I think Ypsilanti is very much like other cities attempting to create progress on it's own terms while holding onto it's unique identity; so it's very exciting to be here.

What passion are you pursuing at The BOS?

Building my business is one of my passions and the BOS is offering a great environment to do that in.

What's a fun BOS story?

I was working with a business coach (you know who you are) on wrapping up a 6 month program when someone (you know who you are) asked to borrow my laptop to transfer some files... of course, being the nice person that I am, I lent this person (you know who you are) my laptop and had to conduct a troubleshooting session helping the person who borrowed my laptop (you know who you are) while simultaneously debriefing with my business coach (you know who you are).

Have you ever been told you look like someone famous, who was it? (If not then Is there any place you'd like to travel to?

The founder of a marketing agency in Ann Arbor always tells me I resemble Mark Ruffalo (the Incredible Hulk) when I see him (the agency owner), and when I worked as a clerk at a gas station, I had a regular who would come in and she would always tell me I looked  like Josh Radnor (Ted from How I Met Your Mother).
