BOS Member Spotlight: Christine Le Pottier

Meet BOS Member Christine Le Pottier, partner and Director of Analytics and Methods at Artemis Strategy Group. We asked Christine a few questions about Artemis and her experience at The Back Office Studio. Here's what she had to say:

BOS: Tell us about Artemis Strategy Group.

CHRISTINE: We are a women-owned research consultancy serving public, private and nonprofit clients. We conduct primary research (quantitative and qualitative) often utilizing a unique methodological approach, called Motivation Research, to understand how and why people make decisions.  Of particular interest is supporting organizations focused on making a positive social impact in areas such as public health, education, the environment, financial security, and improved working conditions. We often help our clients make decisions about how to communicate on important issues and how to motivate their audience(s) to take an action.

Our most exciting new client has been the NFL Players Association (Union) for whom we have conducted research among players to provide public report cards on working conditions in the league.   

We have been in business for 19 years, as a primarily virtual company with a physical office in D.C. until 2024.  The majority of us now reside in southern Michigan, spanning the state.

BOS: How long have you been a member of The BOS?

CHRISTINE: 3 years.

BOS: What do you like most about coworking at The BOS?

CHRISTINE: The community and the buzz of good work happening all around – it’s a great environment both to focus and to be inspired.  

BOS: What advice do you have for new business owners?

CHRISTINE: Business can be very unpredictable from year to year based on so many factors outside of our control.  One important thing I’ve learned is to accept the uncertainty and try not to fight the current.  When I’m feeling stuck I often walk down to the river and take it in – the water, the geese, the birds.  It’s really helpful to step away for perspective.
